My Ella

my lil Ella her story is neat one she is my chug. She is the daughter of my old chiuahua "boss" and Kristy's pug "Bailey" I had been begging Kristy with a chug ever since I can remember but she never relented until she became so tired and pregnant with killian that she said if I took care of Bailey for a few months she would let me have one!! It didn't take long for Bailey and Boss to become "stuck together" as my kids called it and Bailey was pregnant! She bacame really big and uncomfortable so we new it wasn't going to be long for the pups to be here. We had gotten a couple of opinions on how many pups she would have they all said three or four!! We got on u tube and started reading up on the birth because me and Kristy both didn't know much about it. We soon found out just how detailed and how involved we would be!! Kristy said she would volenteer moral support but I would be the one in charge of all the dirty details!! on april 22,08 Bailey went into labor about 4 in the moring. I came in her room and sat with her . She deliverd her first baby about 6:30 am a big boy who paved the way for not 3 or 4 but 8 pups!! I helped her through the whole thing helping break their bags suctioning out their little faces and tying off their cords! Bailey was such a trooper! she is a baby making machine! she had one just about every hour after she started labor sometime two at once! I didnt relize how much of a bond you can make with a dog going through a similar process to bring fourth life! I was so honord to have been there for her and in return I got to keep the runt of the litter a lil girl we named Ella (short for Cinderella) cause i thought she was going to be my little princess! I love her a ton even though at times she tries my patience!! She loves to sleep with Taylor and loves people. She is kinds a attention hog!! I didn't relize that alot of Bailey's personality traits are genetic! she didn't get much of Boss's quiteness. the girls got alot of personality, she just wouldn't fit in our family if she didn't! we love you Ella!

THE CIRCUS

Just wanted to take a few moments to express my love for my kids. I was so excited last night to have a date night while my kiddies were at the Circus.(thanks mom) and me and Tom did have have fun but I noticed myself getting ansy as the time went on watch the clock waiting for my babies to get home and tell me all about the fun time they had. They got home at 10:30 and were tuckerd out I got haidyn out of the car and he said "nigh night mommy" so I new he was a gonner. They told me stories of the elephants and the Lions the looks on their faces where priceless. I loved hearing each ones randitions of what happened. Taylor the big girl she is was matter of fact and so well worded, Mckaydee told me her story in her little voice and her cute little way of saying this like poepoe instead of pillow she still has trouble pronouncing some of her letters like r it was so neat. I love these little guys and being home full time with them has allowed me to appreciate them so much more I didn't realize the little things I was missing before. I love you all my little chitlions!

Baby KK

This is my nephew baby KK. He is soo adorable I love him so much. On this day we gave him his first hair cut and tatoo! he is getting all around and into everything. He likes to play and is always smiling. I htink now he is starting to be more comfortable going to others and he loves coming to my house to play. I can't believe he is already nine mo! Kristy is already planning his first B-day. How fun it is to be a first time mom!! He looks alot like his daddy but you can still see his mamma in him. Not like my kids they all look like Tom and Kristy! (not fair!!) I keep trying to tell Kristy to have more babies but she is relentless on waiting. I guess this means i will have more time to play with her babies as mine are getting older. I just hope mine arent old enough to baby sit the next time she has one! haha

peach days!

Peach days were so much fun. They are held in Brigham city every year. My sister in law Brenda owns a photography studio and enters a float every year. She won best of show last year. This year the them was angels. My kids got to dress up and be in the parade even Haidyn, who got to ride on the four wheeler. (the highlight of his day!) They sat so good and waved at every body. Kristy taught them how to wave like princesses. Mckaydee kept calling the parade "The marching" it was so cute. Unfourtunally on the way back to Brendas my littlest angel got the flu, it was so sad! Im really glad he didnt have to miss it though!

My Hubby!

I just wanted to take a minute and tell you all about my wonderful hubby and father to my kids. His name is Thomas Howard Houston the III i always thought that his name sounded prince like! He has always been my best friend there is nothing I keep from him.We met over 10 yrs ago thru my cousin Michael. We went hot tubbing and were inseperable ever since. He is a people person and has an ease talking to all kinds of people. He has been working for Wagstaff Crane and really enjoys it. The guys at his work request him to go with them so he works all the time.(hence the abandoned wife's club!! haha) but i am blessed to be albe to stay at home with my babies. I do miss him though! He can always make me laugh witch is great unless I'm trying to stay mad to make a point then it doesn't work in my favor!! I am so lucky to find someone that I want to be with forever. I can see us walking around when we are 80 him teasing all the grandkids and still making naughty advances toward me. He is really good at making me blush also!! He is also an amazing father. My kids miss him greatly when he is away. They love to hear his voice. He likes to rough house with them.It scares me to death but they love it.. My favorite memory ever is the look on his face everytime he held our babies for the first time! their is nothing sweeter than a fathers proud unwaivering love! I love you sweetie and always will!! xoxox

summer fun!

The kids had soo much fun this summer im kinda sad to see it go, even though i am excited to see cooler weather. We did some really fun things this summer. We loved to play in the water i think my kids were fish at some point!! I love watching how much they grow over the summer. I do think that 3 mo is a little long for them to be out Taylor seems to so much better when she has things to ocupy her all the time! Mckaydee is really coming into her own she isnt quite as shy and really loves to perform in front of us and do songs and dances around. Haidyn is such a ham and really has such a good temperment. He really lights up my life. i love the diversity they bring me. kate on jon and kate plus 8 once said everyday is soo diferent yet painfully the same!

my sweet family

My family has always been important to me i've always been a natural leader guiding with love. My kids are getting older now and I love every hurdle we have been through! Although i would'nt have thought i would have survived it all. My youngest child a son named Haidyn was born with left hemispheric cortical dysplasia( a fancy way of saing only the right side of his brain works!!) he is now 3 and i marvel at all the accomplishments this little guy has made! he just learned how to say his name last night nd was so happy he was understood! Its amazing to me the little stuff i took for granted with my girls now 6 and 5. My girls love their little brother and even though they pick on him (toughen him up!) i now we have instilled a love for him and other people with disabilities in them. I am so proud of the accomplishments all my klids have made! My Taylor is 6 and she was born with attitude! she has giving me a run for my money but, she is worth it. I hope she takes with her always the confidence she has now and she knows the right desicion even if she has to try the wrong one on first! Mckaydee has always been a mommy's girl i used to have to clean the house with her strapped to my chest! she still is curious as to what i am doing and likes to nurture others. I hope she will always keep with her the sweetness she has to offer and continues to make people work for her approval. I know my kids know I love them and as a mom, I know that's one of the best things I can offer them! My sister Kristy and I have become very close in our later years and even more so now that she has my beautiful nephew Killian. We spend so much time together since both our husbands work take them away. We have now founded a group called the abandand wifes club!! We mostly use it to go to lunch and shop but, our plan is to work out and do more productive things I PROMISE!!! lol. I just wanted to thank her for alawy being supportive and reminding me that we were sisters by chance but friends by choice!! love you all.

if i can figure this out!!

if i can figure this whole blogging thing that would be great!!
